The role of a sound engineer can be vastly different from one to another; it can depend on what corner of the audio industry you’re working in, and what level your career is at. Sound production is an integral and collaborative part of the creative process, although the day to day of a producer can often be solitary work. Music Victoria have gathered some established producers, sound engineers and managers to provide insights into their careers, and advice on how to find opportunities to grow your career as an independent producer or by engaging a management team.
