Music Victoria has joined more than 400 industry colleagues in a campaign asking Australians to help ‘stop the interruptions’ and get vaccinated now. Over the last 18 months, the live music and entertainment sector has had thousands of performances disrupted, postponed or cancelled. Meanwhile, tens of thousands of workers have been stood down. Prior to the most recent lockdowns, live music activity was only at 12% of pre-COVID levels. Vaccination is the only way to ‘stop the interruptions’ and break the cycle of lockdowns, getting Australians back to the magic of live performance once more.

The initiative is supported by over 225 performers including Victorians Amyl & The Sniffers, Rudely Interrupted, Emma Donovan, Mildlife and many, many more. You can view the complete list of artist and industry supporters here.
