Back in April, Music Victoria supported The Push in their call to evolve FReeZA, a youth-led program that supports the delivery of live events in environments that are drug, alcohol, and smoke-free.

Today, Minister for Youth Ros Spence announced a significant increase in funding for the program, with $10.2 million invested into FReeZA 2022-2024. The music industry wouldn’t be what it is today without the FReeZA program, and we’re so delighted to see this result.

The program offers three-year funding for community organisations and local governments to deliver safe, youth-friendly events for Victorians aged 12-25.

The Office for Youth will be running a series of information sessions to support applicants:

Applications are open until Friday, October 29th at 3pm. To apply, visit Youth Central.
