The Phonographic Performance Company of Australia (PPCA) is a national, non-profit organisation established by record companies to represent the interests of record labels and Australian recording Artists. The major service that PPCA provides is the collection of licence fees from broadcasters and businesses publicly playing recorded music or music videos, and the distribution of these fees to copyright holders (licensors) and Australian recording artists that are registered with them.
