Located in what a local taxi driver once described as "the Toorak end of Broadmeadows", the studio offers a comfortable and inspiring environment for a wide variety of project styles just 30 minutes drive north from Melbourne's CBD.
Four Hundred Acres is the home of musician and in-house engineer Robert Vasey who has worked with an array of established artists including Owl Eyes, Clubfeet, Lanie Lane, Clare Bowditch, Chet Faker, Lisa Mitchell, Gossling and Chela and Rohan Sforcina who has yielded collaborations with Pallbearer, Agalloch, Little Ugly Girls, Greenthief and Elliot Knapp.
