Carolyn Gannell
Since 2001, Carolyn has been an active member of the Melbourne music community and holds a Bachelor of Music (Performance). She has successfully written and been awarded several government grants since that time for her two main bands, The Bentleys and Laura.
The key to her success is that she holds many years' experience as a touring musician and has contacts in the music industry both here and abroad. These, coupled with her background in research and high level administration, have helped considerably with her success rate in the following areas:
Recording
Marketing/PR
Local and International touring
Other arts funding bodies including Australia Council, Film Victoria and Screen Australia
Local government grants
Carolyn has more recently worked with several clients, including Harry Howard and The NDE, Dave Graney and The MistLY, Jemma and the Clifton Hillbillies and The Curtin Hotel (Good Music Neighbours funding) to name a few.
Services include: Full application service including initial meeting and acquittal, proof reading, general advice and budget advice (for those who would prefer to do it themselves!).
