Music Victoria is proud to present the Warrnambool Live'n'Local: Music Industry Workshop.

This live music workshop will give local musicians, bands, venues and live music businesses the opportunity to participate in discussions about what a thriving live music scene looks like for the local area. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with industry leaders and council representatives.

Topics covered include:

The event will feature an array of panellists that understand the different challenges that regional communities face in comparison to their metropolitan counter parts. With speakers who will be representing both artists and venues, the event aims to create connections between these and foster relationships to help further the industry in the local area.

Warrnambool Live'n'Local: Music Industry Workshop will be held at the Lighthouse Theatre on Gunditjamara Country in Warrnambool on Friday September 30th from 10AM. A light lunch will be provided a light lunch for your enjoyment.

We are so excited to announce the inaugural HIGHER NOTES MUSIC CONFERENCE 2022 - a free, all ages, new two-day conference that honours the rebirth of the local music community post lockdowns.

Music Victoria presents an afternoon of “How To’s” aimed at emerging musicians. Representatives from Community Radio, Venues, Studios, Advocacy, Publishing and Independent Music will teach you how to get played, get paid, get seen, get heard, get support and give your music the best chance of success.
