It’s been a number of years since Music Victoria ran a Membership Drive, but in the current climate, it feels more important than ever to have everyone unified as a community. Music Victoria’s 2024 Membership Drive will run from Monday 27 May to Sunday 9 June.
As the state peak body for contemporary music, we are only as strong as our community. Ensuring a vibrant member base means that we have a direct line of communication to provide important advocacy updates, lend support and learn from those who make the Victorian music ecosystem what it is.
We’ve worked hard to restructure our Membership offering, simplifying the tiers and ensuring the benefits have lasting impact. We’re also excited to reintroduce Music Victoria’s Fundamentals Program, which represents our core offering to the industry. This is delivered through important research, key resources, professional development, advocacy work, targeted promotion and by providing a vital help desk service.
Right now, Music Victoria is calling on the industry to band together. Locally, nationally and globally there are significant challenges that need to be addressed in order to see the whole ecosystem flourish. Music Victoria works hard to advocate on behalf of the sector, but there is strength in numbers. The bigger our member base, the more influence we have to positively impact change. We are stronger together.
